Knoydart Stickers

Knoydart is a remote peninsula in highland Scotland. It is reached either by boat or a multi-day walk through mountain passes. The only road leads nowhere. Walking out over a 2000ft pass, you pass this waterfall. I passed it once and it looked mundane, but as if an apparition from Brigadoon, the morning light on this on occasion made it look totally enchanted. The drop in case you were wondering is about 8-10ft - so not exactly massive! Look closely and you may see a couple of heart like shapes. Painted in oil on board, the light glinting on the shield of schist was quite a challenge.
