Painted from home based on a photo taken during my fourth lockdown in New Zealand. We've had a gorgeous week of non stop sun so I went for my favourite ride out to Jacks Point. Idle lockdown hands had built this amazing cairn. The biggest I've seen!

Most places in Queenstown have a nice view from their garden. This place in Kelvin Heights is just ludicrous!

Painted from the shelter of a rocky outcrop somewhere along the shore of Lake Wakatipu. Why sheltered? Because it was pissing it down!

It took a year but I finally made it up the Lower Wye Creek Track. A bit of an odd one because these amazing views were actually fairly near the beginning... and then you hike up a valley until you decide to turn around!

A year later I found myself up Queenstown Hill a second time. I can't believe I'm still here!

My first couple of weeks in Queenstown were spent up at the top of Goldfield Heights. This was one of the amazing views!

There's no better time for a stroll along the waterfront on Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu at sunset. Not only do the Remarkables glow in the evening light, but in St Omer Park on the lake's foreshore, the setting sun lights up the trees in amazing patterns.
