New Zealand Stickers

New Zealand is a melting pot of cultures, including many from the Pacific islands. This is my tribute to some of the beautiful, traditional tapa cloth designs that have been a huge inspiration to me over the years.

I love stained glass and the magical way the colours come to life when the light shines through it. In summer and early autumn sunflowers give us such joy, so I've combined these two loves of mine in this piece.

Kia ora is a warm and welcoming greeting you'll hear throughout New Zealand and comes from the indigenous Māori language, te reo.

Tall flax seed heads reach into the bright blue sky.

The sun sets over the harbour at Akaroa on the Banks Peninsula. I seem to have been very lucky with sunsets there -- and the gorgeous setting definitely doesn't hurt either!

I took this picture at a big air training session in Wanaka, Cardrona Alpine Resort, New Zealand. Elevations of 1,260 and 1,860m. Then used it to create this graphic. Hope you like it.

New Zealand is a melting pot of cultures, including many from the Pacific islands. This is my tribute to some of the beautiful, traditional tapa cloth designs that have been a huge inspiration to me over the years.

Mostly found in New-Zealand and on the south coast of Australia, the little penguin, also known as fairy penguin and blue penguin, is the smallest species of penguin, measuring between 12-13 inches (30-33 cm) tall and with a body mass of around 3.3 lb (1.5 kg). Those little guys remain faithful to their partner for the full breeding season. The little penguin, being overal of least concern, is considered at risk in New-Zealand. While only the Manly colony (considered critical habitat) remains in NSW, Australia,the species is protected under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995, now replaced by Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.
