The illustration depicts a samurai fish (魚侍). It's a humorous depiction imagining what a samurai fish would look like... it wouldn't get caught on a hook, it would cut the worm without even disturbing the float... In real life, while fishing, sometimes it feels like there was a samurai fish down there at the bottom because when we started, there was a worm... then nothing gets caught on the fishing line... we check... and there's an empty hook.
