On my recent trip to Japan I was extremely inspired by the majesty of Mount Fuji! I decided to do "31 Views of Mt. Fuji" as my theme for this year's Inktober. All the paintings are done with Sumi Ink and are based on my photos that I took while in Japan ^-^

Terry the Ghoul stuck in a mood swing. His pedicure is on point, but he cannot decide if he's happy or sad. This design was inspired by the "swing" prompt from the official Inktober 2019 prompt list. It is a few days late, but Terry takes some time to materialize.

Inktober Day #05. Witness the building blocks of life in full bloom.

Inspired by the "enchanted" prompt on the official Inktober 2019 prompt list, Terry the Ghoul decided to be a fairy goth mother this Halloween. Well, he is truly creepy and magical, capturing that Halloween spirit. Notice the eyeball wand detail... yeah, Terry's eyeballs are actaully magical, I think he can cast some pretty cool spells with that wand.

#inktober day 11: snow. I thought about George Washington leading his troops across the Delaware through a snowstorm on Christmas night in 1776 after a rough fall full of losses and retreats. It made me think of a bald eagle riding out a winter storm on a branch.

This little lizard wants to be dragon when he grows up. If the Komodo Monitor can do it, why can’t a tiny Gecko? So he taped paper horns on his back, attached spikes to a headband, strapped wings onto a backpack and made his own paper flame which he tied to his tail. He’s now ready to slay some knights! I used a Staedtler pencil for the sketch, Deleter Inks for the outlines and Photoshop for a few touch-ups. Please enjoy!
