Time, and specifically the present, is the most fragile of all things. Nothing lasts less than a present moment, and yet still it can irrevocably change the future.

On my recent trip to Japan I was extremely inspired by the majesty of Mount Fuji! I decided to do "31 Views of Mt. Fuji" as my theme for this year's Inktober.
All the paintings are done with Sumi Ink and are based on my photos that I took while in Japan ^-^

Terry the Ghoul stuck in a mood swing. His pedicure is on point, but he cannot decide if he's happy or sad. This design was inspired by the "swing" prompt from the official Inktober 2019 prompt list. It is a few days late, but Terry takes some time to materialize.

A zombie mink. My country has banned fur farming, but the nasty fur industry is still alive and kickin. Minks are wild creatures and cannot be domesticated or kept in cages. The anguish and frustration of life in a cage leads minks to self-mutilate (biting at their skin, tails, and feet) and frantically pace and circle. Their living conditions on fur farms are awful. I hope fur farms will be banned in the whole world.
The main design is hand drawn with ink.
My #inktober for “ancient.” One older meaning of the word is flag or symbol, so I chose to honor the 6 marines at Iwo Jima that would not let the American Ancient fall. They raised the flag as a beacon of hope.
