Wandering Albatross Calling to its Mate T-Shirt

Wandering Albatross, Diomedea exulans,calling to its mate from the nest on Prion Island, just off the coast of South Georgia in the Southern Atlantic. When the birds return to breed, or when one has been out fishing & returns to the nest the couple conduct a pair bonding ritual. Nests are on the ground in the tussock grass & are well spread out from each other. Both the male and the female take care of the nest and the young.
