Combined images - the Milky Way Galaxy is a stitch of six overlapping photos. This was then resized and replaced the sky of Aoraki/Mt Cook. The latter was darkened to make it look like night. This is a creative work, and it would never appear like this in real life Sony A6300, 25 second exposures for night sky.

NGC 4565 (also known as the Needle Galaxy) is my favourite an edge-on spiral galaxy about 30 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Coma Berenices. I have taken this picture with reflector telescope 750mm focal length and professional monochromatic astro camera. Total exposure time: 27 x 600 sec.

Total exposure time: luminance 27 x 600 sec, RGB 3 x 5 x 120 sec

This deep space image is dedicated especially (but not only) for connoisseurs: galaxy NGC 5907 (on the left) known as Knife Edge or Splinter galaxy, located approximately 53 million light years away from Earth, and on the right two galaxies: NGC 5905 (upper) and NGC 5908 (bottom), both approximately 140 million light years away from Earth. This part of sky shows constellation Dragon. Image taken with Newton 750mm f/5 telescope and color astrophotography camera. Total exposure time: 3 hours

Milky Way Over Mt. Hood, Oregon_6604

This strange and beautiful galaxy looks like water that's been heated to the point of lava. The swirling red and orange hues are mesmerizing, and the overall effect is otherworldly. It's hard to believe that something so beautiful could exist in the vast and empty universe, but this galaxy is proof that there's always something new to discover.
