I lived in a small town by Stuttgart/Germany for a few years. The landscape around there is very beautiful. This painting shows the Hohenlohe Open Air Museum in Schwaebisch Hall-Wackersdorf. It is painted with Da Vinci Watercolor tubes on Arches cold pressed paper.

This whimsical watercolor painting showcases the City Church St. Dionys in Esslingen by the Neckar river. Not far from Stuttgart. It is considered high gothic architecture. I took some artistic liberties.

Looking towards Romanshorn on the Swiss shore of the Lake Constance from a small hill near Immenstaad early in the morning. On the hill itself there are many grape orchards. Besides grapes and wine the region offers a large variety of fruits, especially apples. Canon EOS 60D, 1/60 s, f8, 15 mm, ISO 100.

I just wanted to show a friend some features of Photoshop when this picture "happened". I just took an interesting Lake Constance photo, added some layers with different colors and highlighted the lake surface. That's it. The result was surprisingly good (at least in my opinion), much more interesting than the original - that's why I did upload it here. The original was taken by Canon EOS 60D, 1/250 s, f7.1, 15 mm, ISO 100.

The picture was taken in Hagnau, Germany. It shows the west harbor of the village - mainly used by sailing boats. There is also a pedal boat renting facility there. Although Lake Constance is a lake - where you can usually see the opposite shore, in this case Switzerland - there are days that gives you the imagination of standing at the edge of an silent ocean with a endless horizon.
