In March of 2021, I went to the Oceanside Harbor to practice getting detailed phots of birds in flight. When I got home and viewed my photos on the computer screen, I burst out laughing when I discovered I had gotten a little more detail than I bargained for on this shot.

Street art, graffiti and art-minded vandalism inspire my visual imagination as does the city itself with all its energy. Photography allows me to record what I see, so as to hold onto what I'm seeing. It's a jumping off point for the imagination. From there, the digital realm is endless. You can do almost anything from within it. That's where my creative juices get flowing.
