This image of Table Rock Lodge is inspired by silkscreen design, paint by numbers, vintage travel posters and our national and state parks. I, and generations before me, grew up going to Table Rock State Park. My dad and his siblings were life guards there when they were growing up. When I was young, we’d go there to swim in the lake or have Sunday lunch at the lodge. The lodge can be rented out for special occasions, but if it isn’t rented, it’s a lovely spot for a picnic or just to sip your coffee and rock on the porch. Bathrooms, picnic tables, hiking trails, campground, cabins and a lake for canoes and swimming are available in other parts of the park. SFOD B-56 Project Sigma teams abducted POWs back from the enemy in the Fish Hook area of war zone C. An enemy telephone line was located, tapped, and conversations recorded. Other teams placed electronic surveillance devices, set mechanical ambushes, and a host of electronic devices to hinder and harass the enemy along infiltration routes into South Vietnam. SFOD B-56 Project Sigma's Road Runner Teams were transferred over to SFOD B-57 project Gamma in 1967. SFOD B-56 Project Sigma also assisted and acted as forward reconnaissance elements in several Black Jack operations which were conducted in its area of operations.
