This is one of my favourite images because it contains many contrasting elements: formal & informal; structured & unstructured, natural & human made; light & dark; land & water; substance & reflection; warm & cool colours, east & west: & I think the composition works well. It is also a reminder of a very pleasurable visit to these gardens in Vancouver.

I'm an ancient Asian art buff. An old man still looking towards the rising Sun. In my pieces I am reaching back to go forwards; my only wish: to indulge fully in the process of remixing art... I am deeply inspired by the masters of Japanese Ukiyo-e painting, and aim with my pieces to convey a deeply evocative and somewhat reminiscent picture of a past both foreign and beautiful, where notions of time and enjoyment had very different connotations. I sincerely hope that the viewers will feel peace and appreciation when they contemplate on this piece. Luna is the guardian of the sleepless. She ensures that the residents of Catrich can sleep in peace.

A majestic and fiery lightning dragon on a mountain in the yellow tones, perfect for the year of the Dragon or simply for the dragon lovers!

Aaron Da Fur is the guardian of the club owners of Catrich. He has 7 siblings, plays in 7 bands and has 7 jackets, that all look the same. His parents met on a Deftones concert - hence his name.

Fang-Claw is the guardian of the oppressed and lives in the mids of the larges city of all Catrich. He is very deftly, fast and silent. He does 7000 pushups every day.
