His powerful antiutopian novel explores the dangers of Totalitarian rule which many believe is still relevant today under different governments across Europe such as Francisco Franco's Spain or Italy’s Mussolini regime during the World War II era. I live in the US and have a 7,000 deductible, which gets me one doctors visit a year. In Georgia I literally have one company that I can buy insurance from. There is no market, there is no competition, I can't drive to other states in this country and be covered. It's nonsense and anyone that has had to deal with these private companies knows that they will find a way to not be there when you need them most, it's a very lucrative scam at the expense/lives of people who have no leverage.

I am a citizen of a dystopian society in the year 1984. I live in a world where freedom of thought and expression is suppressed by a totalitarian government. I am constantly monitored by the government and am expected to conform to its strict rules and regulations. I am constantly under the watchful eye of Big Brother and am expected to follow the Party's doctrine without question. I live in a world of fear, mistrust, and paranoia, where the government controls every aspect of my life.
