Stop and pay the toll..to the troll! This toll turned Troll Bridge t-shirt reminds fans that love can bloom even where an evil creature is lurking. It was inspired by Snow White and Prince Charming’s Once Upon a Time meeting. Hopefully it all works out for them again in Storybrooke, Maine.

The route to nowhere is a hand drawn illustration digitised to vector format depicting a bricked road passing through the edge of a forest where small creatures live. The road leads to a very curved bridge which is difficult to climb and which leads to nowhere. Beyond in the horizon are hills and a city. The river passing under the bridge has many sea creatures floating in it. The illustration is based on a fair tale type of scenario. A fantasy world which can be used for both children and adult. The illustration has a parallel to the wizard of oz story where the brick road leads to emerald city. Howver, in this illustration the yellow brick road has no colour and leads no where, passing through a dream-like world of little creatures.

These are some very beautiful autumn leaves and a sun dappled stone bridge I encountered on a recent walk I took on my lunch hour. If you look closely there is a tiny white temple hiding behind the red tree. Coming upon this scene on my walk felt just like stumbling on Avalon or the gate to Faerie.

These are some very beautiful autumn leaves and a sun dappled stone bridge I encountered on a recent walk I took on my lunch hour. If you look closely there is a tiny white temple hiding behind the red tree. It was like a doorway to another world!

Fairy Forest Village Enchanted Woodland

This is from the artwork in my children’s picture book - The King’s Biscuits. It features the three billy goats gruff as knights going on a biscuit quest and travelling over a troll’s bridge.

After my first goat doodle my husband asked me to create a doodle about the three billy goats gruff. I drew this in 2017.
