A sailboat passes Point Cartwright on its way down the coast from Mooloolaba as god rays burst from the clouds overhead.

The tide was heading out as we shot sunset at Point Cartwright over the weekend, and sometimes the water seemed to be in quite a rush to get back to sea.

Happy Australia Day everyone! If you're here in Oz, I hope your day involves plenty of beach and BBQ time. This would have been the perfect way to start Australia Day, but since it's a bit rainy today I'm just looking back on my memories of Point Cartwright a few weeks ago.
