Storage Shed In Sepia is a sepia tone photographic art print of a storage shed on an oyster farm. The setting is an oyster farm located on San Juan Island in the Pacific Northwest. San Juan Island is home to Friday Harbor on the eastern side and Roche Harbor on the western side. The oyster farm is located close to Roche Harbor. I used a sepia tone finish and texture on the photograph for that old rustic look. The sepia brown tones originated with film photography as part of the process to develop the prints in the 1800’s. Today, we can recreate that same vintage look digitally. Oyster Farm Storage Shed is an art print I created using a gothic oil technique. This technique uses strong brush strokes and warm earthen tones creating an old world look. This particular wall art print depicts an old storage shed. The setting is an oyster farm on San Juan Island in the State of Washington. The oyster farm is located in a rural area of the island on the shores of a protected harbor. A digital sketch of an abandoned and derelict farm shed standing folornly in the corner of a meadow - but with its own particular charm and beauty! The corrugated iron cladding may be rusting but the structure is still standing and perhaps is still useful for storing fodder or tools away from any inclement weather!
