Black Shuck Tank Tops

This local verse from Suffolk, England commemorates the Black Shuck that terrorized the people there in 1577. 4 August 1577, during a raging thunderstorm a massive black dog bursts into St. Mary's church in Bungay, Suffolk, England and kills 2 church members during Sunday service and mauls a third. Then the church's steeple is struck by lightning and collapses. The beast continues to the Holy Trinity Church in Blythburough and kills 3 church members there. As it exits it leaves claw marks scorched into the wooden door. Dubbed the Black Shuck the hellish hound is said to haunt East Anglia England.

Don't let the light catch you

I live in Suffolk, UK and there are a lot of folklore tales about a big black dog, sometimes with red eyes. In our area, we call him Shuck or Black Shuck. He haunts the country lanes at night.
