Classic quarefoil pattern in various shades of blue

I wanted to do a work reminiscent of a mosaic made of brightly coloured, highly detailed and patterned ceramic tiles. I used bits and pieces of my own hand drawn patterns to decorate them. : )

I hand painted some Moroccan inspired shapes with watercolor paints and put them together in Photoshop to make a repeat. It took a little while but was very satisfying. I think I'd like to do a series of watercolor patterns ... But then again, I'd like to go to Paris, and that's probably not going to happen, either.

I used my hand drawn lily & lotus pattern, my own textures in canvas & ink, a custom vector shape that I created in Photoshop with my favorite colors in this moroccan inspired work. : )

So, this is colorway number two. This is my favourite of the two, what do you think? (Though I probably won't be able to stop at just two. Playing with the colours is the best part!) Hand drawn with graphite pencil, scanned, coloured and finished up in Photoshop. A continuation of my infatuation with doodling, florals & Moroccan patterns.
