Bowerbird Tank Tops

This brightly-coloured Regent Bowerbird looks to the future, with hope in his eyes. An original watercolour design by Australian wildlife artist Nadya Neklioudova.

Fun fact: The male bowerbird decorates their nests to impress the females during mating season. This is done typically with blue items, thought to be because blue is a rare colour in nature.

Spotted this Satin Bowerbird in the trees in the Koala enclosure at Healesville Sanctuary in Victoria, Australia. Brilliant blue feathers and eye really stood out.

This guy has the birds eating out of his hand !! Introducing the amazing Glenn Trelfo, the Birdman of O'Reilly's Guesthouse in Lamington National Park, south east Queensland, Australia. This photo was taken during the morning Bird Walk from the guesthouse. Glenn even had a whipbird, named Mr Whippy land on his hand to feed before rushing off. I wasn't even sure what a whipbird looked like after hearing them hundreds of times & this guy had one feeding out of his hand !! I had just put a new picture card in the camera & silly me didn't notice that the card was full, so I missed getting a shot of the whipbird on his hand.
