Risen Chameleos' appearance is noticeably different from a standard Chameleos, now being mostly gray and black with some areas (such as its head, feet, wingarms, and tail) still being slightly purple. Its body is covered in wounds resembling burns, which have a bright orange glow upon entering its Risen state. This version of Chameleos has overcome being afflicted by the Qurio and has become more powerful as a result. It gains more attacks with its tongue and its poisonous breath than before including the ability to create a large poisonous cloud in front of it before slamming it with its tail causing a massive explosion. Flaming Espinas is capable of producing larger and more powerful bursts of fire than the common Espinas, and is more resistant to damage. Its most noteworthy abilities is to charge up then launch a large fireball at its feet which explodes into a massive fire storm covering a large radius. Similarly to the common Espinas, it is a docile and passive wyvern which will only attack when provoked. It sleeps for much of the day, and is usually encountered in this state. Similar to the common Espinas, this monster is powerful enough to face Elder Dragons such as the Teostra.

Rakna-Kadaki are Temnocerans bristling with sharp curving spikes. Their bodies are covered in a purple carapace with several large spikes on the legs and the abdomen, which are usually draped in pale webs. Unlike Nerscylla, Rakna-Kadaki have eight limbs; the two middle pairs are walking legs, the hind pair is held above the ground carrying the abdomen, and a pair of burgundy, blunt pedipalps that can extend to over three times their length make up the front pair. The most peculiar trait of Rakna-Kadaki however are their "necks". Similar to pelican spiders, they have a long, extendable neck that can be "retracted" back on top of the thorax. Nargacuga has the ability to attack with almost every part of its body, mainly its bladed wings and its spiked tail. Its head can be used for biting, similar to Tigrex. Its bladed wings are used almost for the entire battle and deal high damage. Its tail tip, which can be cut with a white bar of sharpness or above, is extremely dangerous. When in Rage Mode its tail spikes will protrude until it gets out of it (Although they will protrude when it uses tail slams and it shoots tail spikes). Nargacuga also has extremely strong muscles that let it jump long distances and tall heights at high speed.
