The river fowey, in the forest of liskeard, Bodmin moor, Cornwall, United Kingdom. Known as Golitha Falls beautiful walk on an autumns day.

The river fowey flowing down the gorge. The golitha falls , liskeard, cornwall is a beautiful walk so magical, listening to the birds and rapid water cascading beside you. There are stories that a large flat rock called golitha rock spread across the river stopping fish traveling up stream to spawn miners saw this and dynamited a section of the rock to allow the fish passage.

The Golitha Falls are a series of spectacular cascades and waterfalls along a section of the River Fowey as it makes its way through the ancient oak woodland of Draynes Wood.

This boat, slowly sinking into the mud of the River Fowey in Cornwall, won't be going anywhere soon. But the heron's appreciate the perch.
