Danbo went back to his homeland of Japan over New Year's last year and had plenty of time to play in the powdery snow of Niseko.

Danbo felt like the Sydney Harbour Bridge wasn't strong enough to hold itself up on its own, so he decided to help. This was quite a difficult shot to set up because the chair Danbo's standing on is the only place that he would balance without falling into the harbour!

Even Danbo isn't immune to going to famous landmarks and taking a typical tourist shot there!

It's tough learning to read when the book is three times your size.

The Danbos find a very interesting piece of machinery in their backyard. What could it have done to have deserved such treatment? This is my old Sony Vaio laptop. Believe me, it deserved this fate very much--in 2 years, the DVD player, fan, SD card reader, webcam, keyboard, and motherboard all failed, yet Sony would do next to nothing to help me with it (at one point, they told me to just go on YouTube to find instructions on how to take the computer apart and then to try to fix it myself!). I figured after the motherboard died that it would be therapeutic to sledgehammer it to death (after removing all the still-functioning parts), since it cost less at that point to just buy a new computer!

The Danbos trekked all day in search of the elusive end of the rainbow. As the sun was beginning to set, they stumbled upon it. In their exhaustion, one collapsed near the source of the rainbow while the other stood and gave thanks to whoever was watching from above. I just thought such cute characters needed a cute story to go with them :)

I took this photo during a snap rain storm earlier in the week. I was lucky enough to get home just before the storm so I didn't get wet... but Danbo did when I put him out on our Jacaranda-covered walkway in the backyard!

Danbo was so impressed with his view of Surfers Paradise that he had to capture a few photos to show his mom.
