This painting is intended to convey a giant standing and blocking two paths in a forest that a person or child must face and choose. The meaning behind it is facing our giants with the title of my painting being “Fighting Giants.” The child symbolizes humanity, in general, becoming vulnerable like a child in the face of fear or adversity hence the giant. Two blocked paths refer to which is the right road a person needs to take.

One parent calls the classic art: “pornographic”. The Tallahassee, Florida school's principal banned the art from the curriculum to make sure art history is not too "woke" for the fragile Florida parents.

It's everyone's favorite kind of story: A tiny hero takes down a gargantuan baddie despite the overwhelmingly bad odds of coming out on top. This little mouse fights for the people. Or so historians would have us believe. It's possible that the skull creature just had the misfortune of being born with fangs and diabolical horns despite possessing a kind and loving nature. That seems unlikely, but you never know
