This is is a digitally enhanced photo of a colorful red maple leaf in the fall against a dramatic, almost abstract background of autumn colors and natural shapes.

A fanciful image, "Peek-a-Boo" is a portrait of a grey tabby cat (who adopted us), playing peek-a-boo with the leaves from her favorite perch high-up on a limb in a grand old maple tree.

Dense fog provided the perfect backdrop for this atmospheric silhouette of a leafless maple tree. Photographed near the shoreline of Lake Ontario (one of the Great Lakes).

This began as a photo of red and orange maple leaves in autumn and was digitally enhanced with painterly type effects to create an almost impressionist piece with warm fall color and texture.
