Oriveto is an amazing historic city perched on a hillside in Umbria, on the cusp of Tuscany. Here, you'll fine secret pathways, Etruscan art, lovely shops, and historic churches and a gorgeous duomo or cathedral. Orvieto, down the road from Todi, famous for festivals, Orvieto hosts its own high-profile events like an annual jazz festival. If you're traveling through Umbia, it's worth taking the funicular up the hill to see this historic hill town with a fascinating history and lovely wine.

Found this little church when walking South from Kardamaina, on the small Greek island of Kos. Since our visit in September 2001, this area has been developed into the Aegean Village Hotel Resort. Kos sits in the middle of the Dodecanese Chain of Greek Islands.
