I finally made a full view of Thomas. Based on season 1 and 2 of the model TV series. "Thomas is a tank engine who lives at a big station on the island of Sodor. He's a cheeky little engine with 6 small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a short stumpy dome."

I've always loved this gorgeus mashup from PETER CHAN, one of the great artists behind many LucasArts games. This work was on the Adventurer #5-1992 (the LucasArts official magazine) and it's about Day of the Tentacle from Dave Grossman and Tim Schafer (duh?). I've never found a t-shirt with it and time ago I crave it almost desperately, so... I manage to make a HI-RES t-shirt out of it. Hope you like the cut-out! ;-)

The island has been the subject of many conspiracy theories. Some believe Lyme disease originated on the island and was communicated by accident to nearby Lyme, Connecticut where it spread to the mainland. Separately, many believe the island has been the source for genetically mutated animals, including what has been dubbed the "Montauk monster," a beastly looking creature that washed on Montauk's shore in July 2008. In the 1989 film Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal Lecter is offered vacation time on "Plum Island Animal Disease Center" if he cooperates. Pausing, he mocks the island by calling it, "Anthrax Island."

Motu Nui (large island in the Rapa Nui language) is the largest of three islets just south of Easter Island and is the most westerly place in Chile and all of South America. All three islets have seabirds but Motu Nui was also an essential location for the Tangata manu ("Bird Man") cult which was the island religion between the moai era and the Christian era (the people of the island were converted to Roman Catholicism in the 1860s). Motu Nui is the summit of a large volcanic mountain which rises over 2,000 meters from the sea bed. It measures 3.9 hectares in land area and is the largest of the five satellite islets of Easter island.
