It seems that every Whovian has "their" Doctor. This is usually their first Doctor or their favorite Doctor, or both. I don't like playing favorites. "My" Doctor is always the one I'm currently watching. But, be that as it may, the ninth Doctor introduced me to Doctor Who. I've told the story many times - I didn't like the show at first. I didn't hate it either. I just didn't find it very interesting for the first three to five episodes. On many levels, Doctor Who is sort of a slow burner, as there are a lot of strange things about the show, especially for an American.
