The 197th Infantry Brigade ("Sledgehammer" / "FOLLOW ME") is an inactive Infantry brigade of the United States Army. The brigade was active as an Organized Reserve unit from 1921–1942, in the Regular Army from 1962–1991, and as a TRADOC training unit from 2007–2013. The brigade saw service in Operation Desert Storm with the 24th Infantry Division.

The 199th Infantry Brigade (Light) is a unit of the United States Army which served in the Army Reserve from 1921–1940, in the active army from 1966 to 1970 (serving in the Vietnam War), briefly in 1991–1992 at Fort Lewis, and from 2007 as an active army training formation at Fort Benning.

The 35th Infantry Division (formerly known as the 35th Division) is an infantry formation of the Army National Guard. It is currently headquartered at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The 35th Division was organized August 25, 1917, at Camp Doniphan, Oklahoma, as a unit of the National Guard, with troops from Missouri and Kansas.It was deactivated in 1919 but was reconstituted in 1935 and served with a brief interruption until it was deactivated again in 1963. The 35th Infantry Division was reactivated and the headquarters and headquarters company federally recognized on August 25, 1984, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

The 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team ("Jersey Blues") was an infantry brigade combat team of the United States Army National Guard of New Jersey. It was headquartered at the Lawrenceville Armory. The brigade's lineage can be traced back to several different units starting with the 50th Armored Division. The 50th Armored Brigade existed up until 2007–2008 when the brigade was upgraded and converted to a brigade combat team under the Army's new modularity program. The force structure of the Brigade was changed in 2008 when the conversion to the 50th IBCT occurred. The 50th IBCT has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan for periods of up to a 1 year.
