Blair Atholl Tapestries

A wet ramble near the base of Carn Liath today took me past this herd of free range cows.

An isolated tree dusted with a sprinkling of snow reveals itself through the mist.

This stag was photographed on a cold snowy day. The snow on his antlers really caught my eye.

Blair Atholl Water Mill, Blair Atholl, Scotland, is a working water mill producing flour and oat meal. The mill has a delghtful little tea room where they serve the best fresh produce. Mill tours are available. Best viewed LARGER.

One of the many little pools and small waterfalls on the Bruar Walk through the Bruar Gorge up to the spectacular Falls of Bruar. Bruar is a small hamlet approximately 8 miles north west of Pitlochry and 3 miles north west of Blair Atholl in the beautiful Atholl Estates, in Highland Perthshire, Scotland.
