The mermaids are riding the waves with their dolphin friends at dusk amidst a dramatic sunset and tumultuous waves in the background. A lighthouse from afar flashes its beacon light guiding the mermaids on their journey... "Amidst the roaring waves of seas, the mermaids traverse; the sun and the moon, their guide, And the shore's beam in sight; Life's journey goes on; with each other's strength they count on..."

Completing the trio of mermaids from our 3 vast oceans, this new mermaid painting takes inspiration from the Arctic ocean and sea life in that part of the globe. A colorful mother Mermaid with a rich verdant green-colored tail rests with her young lovely daughter mermaid on an ice sheet set in the cold frozen arctic landscape. Not minding the freezing temperatures, baby harp seals gather round and one little harp seal is snuggled by the young mermaid. To add interest, a couple of friendly Beluga whales join in this frozen scene. The theme of this painting is entitled, "Arctica". Add this painting to my other ocean-inspired mermaids, "Pacifica" and "Atlantica", listed here in my site, to make for interesting ocean life wall art!

My most recent angel art from a custom request order of a beautiful Mother holding her sleeping baby cherub with seven butterflies hovering above her, and with a toddler girl touching the sleeping angel baby. She and her child kneel on a bed of lovely purple Morning Glory flowers. Original was done in 12 x16 watercolor artboard and has been sold. I have entitled this painting, "My Cherub, My Love".

This painting was inspired by hummingbirds that built a nest on our wind chime last year around spring. I just think it's so unique how these birds built their tiny nest on a quite small wind chime and kept that nest sturdy and solid. It was a wonderful way to welcome spring with these young baby hummingbirds that hatched and took flight just after a few days. My family and I saw them perch on the edge of their nest and take their first few wing flaps which in no time took them high-up and quickly airborne to join their Mom to gather nectar. The painting is named, "Bit O' Luck" , perfect for St Patrick's Day and hopefully bring some luck of the Irish!

This pretty mermaid, Marina, is sister to Maris, one of my other rainbow-tailed syrens, and can be paired with my other mermaid print, "Mermaid and Beluga"that is also listed in this shop. Marina is braiding some of her lovely locks and weaving pearls into it as she is in her favorite secret place on the beach whilst the moon is big and full. The mermaid brought ashore her giant clam jewelry box full of precious stones, pearls and jewels. My original painting inspired by sea life and the treasures one may find... perhaps some pirate's sunken gems and gold? Some playful mermaid sisters chance upon this sunken treasure in what looks like an underwater cave. They are with their friends in the sea: a manatee, a young seal, green sea turtles along with crabs and snails adorn the ocean floor.

I love rainbows and who doesn't? I thought of floating this lovely angel wearing a golden-colored gown in the skies with twisted ribbon-like rainbows in the background. The angel scatters purple and pink roses as she swings and fleets and floats in the air with all the colors of the spectrum.

'Twas the night before Christmas ...when all were asleep, a golden angel appears adorned with holly, brings a vision of Santa and his reindeers in the cold midnight sky, dashing through the snow-covered roof tops of a town, peaceful and awaiting, the morning glory of Christmastime. I named this watercolor painting, "Christmas Tidings Holly Angel".

This is a Nautilus Queen Mermaid sitting on a giant nautilus shell with several small nautili friends circling in an underwater fantasy scene. I gave this painting the name of " Nautilus Queen".

Mermaids inspired by the Yin-Yang concept of duality, light and dark, night and day, and when two opposites complement each other. The two mermaids here represent the yin and yang to achieve balance in many aspects!

From my original watercolor painting, a rainbow-tailed mermaid swimming about in fancy play with a beluga whale and several deep-sea fishes joining them in their underwater frolic. I named this painting, "Maris and Beluga".

This is from an original painting I made of majestic peacocks showing off their plumage. The bright colors of the blue, teal peacock somehow contrasts with the white peacock reminding me of the Yin and Yang symbolisms. This is one of my popular paintings that would work well for any room or office.

This painting was inspired from a bouquet of flowers I received on Mothers Day and on my birthday. I have always loved lavender roses, so I thought to paint them with a fairy emerging from a rose bush. Some blue roses were added to the background to add a bit of mystique to this enchanting fairy. A sprinkle of Baby's Breath buds and flowers adorn her hair.

A beautiful, glorious angel riding a flying unicorn/pegasus, emerges from dramatic skies . She is holding a glowing star to bring light and pave the way ... as a harbinger perhaps of greater things to come.
