I based my composition on the iconic cabin, the car and of course the demonic possessions themselves. Using a few reference images from the film, I managed to work together this composition and set to work painting it. Because it's a horror piece and should reflect the hand crafted aesthetic of the movie, I worked quite rough on a lot of this painting, going for a more expressionist take than my usual approach. I'm very satisfied with the final piece and especially with the title treatment added to the piece, I think it works really well as a retro horror poster that would fit nicely to the original marketing.

Cellars in movies are always bad news, especially when sweet old Henrietta Knowby from "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn" is lurking in it.

One of the duo of lovelies in the pit from "Army Of Darkness" that had a grudge against ol' Ash.

What's better than As Williams's severed attitudinal hand from "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn" looking to kill you and your friends at any chance it gets?

Right in time for "Ash Vs. Evil Dead", you get to lay your eyes on good ol' Ash from "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn" in his more than awkward possessed phase.

Good advice if you happen to find yourself in possession of a copy of the Necronomicon, or a magazine/newspaper on public transit.

Trying to be nothing but a loyal assistant, Ed Getley here winds up one of the Deadites in "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn". But, that's what you get for being blonde in an '80s movie.
