This photo was taken just when the Marina on Maryland's Eastern Shore was full of sailboats. It was early in the morning along the Chesapeake Bay before the sailboats were launched for a day out on the water. I added a sepia tinted texture to give the image a vintage look.

Shown here is a simulated watercolor presentation, this Waterman's Bushel Basket/Crab Basket Christmas Tree is found just east of Kent Island in Grasonville, Maryland. The Crab Basket Holiday Tree is for the benefit of the local Watermen's Association and has proven to be a popular attraction over the years.

Built in 1898 and moved further into the the next year, Doubling Point lighthouse aids in navigation the Kennebec River as ships traveled to and from The Atlantic to Bath, a shipbuilding community in Maine.
