A legendary black dragon known only as Fatalis. Rumored to have destroyed a kingdom in a single night, and has taken its castle for a roost.

Fatalis resembles a traditional western dragon, with a long, serpentine neck and tail, along with a pair of large, yet muscular wings. Its body is covered in rigid black scales and lined with white spines along its back. Its head features four backwards-facing horns and rows of enlarged teeth, and fin-like ears. Like many other monsters, Fatalis has a pale underbelly, and like most other Elder Dragons, it possesses six limbs. Its forelimbs are surprisingly thin, belying immense strength. White Fatalis (also known as Old Fatalis) is an Elder Dragon introduced in Monster Hunter 2. White Fatalis is strikingly different in appearance from its relatives. It is covered in luminous white scales, and a line of fur runs down its back and tail. Its horns are antler-like in nature, and the structure of its head is significantly less reptilian than that of its counterparts. Like Kirin, the coat of a White Fatalis produces a bright white aura. When enraged, the throat and chest of the White Fatalis glow a menacing red and becomes surrounded with red lightning sparks.

Crimson Fatalis is a Fatalis whose shells and scales have become a reddish-crimson color after generations of exposure to the Volcano. One of its four horns is extremely overgrown in comparison to the rest. Extremely aggressive and violent, even by Fatalis standards. The Crimson Fatalis' rage is nearly everlasting. The dragon's natural element of lava and its extreme rage go hand in hand. It will kill anything in its path without a second thought.

The God Fatalis!

Smilodon (or 2-edged knife tooth) is better known as the famous saber-toothed cat, it is an extinct species of large cat common to the Americas during the Pleistocene epoch, from 2.5 million years to 10,000 years ago. There were three species, S. gracilis (weighing in at around 120-220lbs), S. fatalis (350-620lbs), and a South American species S. populator (490-880lbs). All saber-toothed cats were defined by their distinctive long canine teeth measuring around 11 inches in length, which they used in hunting large herbivores like bison, camels, and small horses, and even mammoths.
