Founded in 1978, BMX Plus! Magazine is the longest running BMX publication the world has ever known. They were there as BMX racing was born until their final issue in 2015 making it 37 years straight without missing a single issue. While that alone is impressive, especially making it so far in the internet age for what is without question a niche market while maintaining their consistent quality throughout is truly an accomplishment all involved should be proud of.

Torker 2 was introduced only after Torker's bankrupcy in 1984. At that time the Torker name was purchased by Seattle Bike Supply (SBS). Then acquired by the Marui Brothers, who also owned Tioga. It was Marui who launched the Torker 2. Torker was operated under Marui until sometime in the late 80's when SBS reacquired the brand.

Good old 4130 Cromoly was the trademark of the late 70's, 80's and 90's BMX frames and components as some were made from normal or mild steel, so the mark of 4130 CroMo meant that you were getting something a bit more special. This is not a specific design rather just something created to look cool. This design features a "Distressed" effect, meaning it looks old and worn. ;)
