The cold weather has arrived, the hardwood trees no longer have foliage, ducks have left the pond and the bench is empty. Loneliness is a rarity at the Heart Shaped pond. I waited until she got to a position photo I liked and I snapped this photo. This is one of the first photos I ever took with a DSLR. My then brand new Olympus E500, which I still have.

Taken on the roadside near Ainley top Roundabout. West Yorkshire, This is a steep stretch of road running from the M62 down towards Halifax, (West Yorkshire). The bus stops approximately 100 yards from where I was crouched and as it sped past me I pressed the shutter release. I am pleased with the result. A slow shutter speed ensured that the bus streaked across the frame leaving the rest of the image sharp. Canon EOS 70D f/16 1/3rd second shutter speed Hand held 10-18mm STM Lens set at 18 mm.
