This hyena cub was probably 3-4 months old when we saw it, and the colors developing on its fur were really strikingly beautiful. You can see it's investigating something and I just loved everything about its pose here!

These two hyena cubs are from Kruger National Park, South Africa. Hyenas have a reputation for being less than beautiful. But when they're this young, how can they be considered anything but cute?

This young hyena cub was part of a small pack of cubs in Kruger National Park in 2013. By now, it must be fully grown with a pack of its own!
