Mary, the mother of Jesus, received a very special mission: to take care of the savior of the world during his childhood, along with Joseph. She was young but accepted the challenge. Mary became pregnant as a virgin and gave birth to Jesus in a stable. She saw the signs that he would be important and kept everything in her heart. Mary saw the ministry of Jesus. After he was resurrected, she and her other children joined the other disciples in their work of proclaiming the gospel and praying. Mary never called attention to herself or wanted glory. She knew that all honor and glory belong to Jesus. It is good to follow Mary's recommendation: "do whatever he (Jesus) tells you".
