Contrary to what some fans may think, Cash never did more than a night in jail, and definitely not at California's Folsom, but he identified with the inmates and "Folsom Prison Blues" cemented him as a kind of bad-boy icon. The prison itself is off limits to anyone who isn't visiting an inmate, but the nearby Folsom Prison Museum tells the prison's gruesome history and includes plenty of Johnny Cash memorabilia.

It is not possible to speculate on how he might approach running a pizza shop as it is outside of the context of the movie and the character's established skill set and abilities.

Escape from New York tribute

The Ice Box is Canada's super-human prison. Located deep in the Northwest Territories, the surrounding area is so inhospitable as to make escape near-impossible. There has only been one recorded escape: the Confessor was hired by Ivan the Terrible to free his operative, Sickle. The Confessor used the cover of a blizzard and freed some of the other prisoners as a distraction to escape with Sickle.

Escape from New York is a 1981 American science fiction action film co-written, co-scored and directed by John Carpenter. It stars Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Donald Pleasence, Ernest Borgnine, Isaac Hayes, Adrienne Barbeau, and Harry Dean Stanton. The film's storyline, set in the near-future world of 1997, concerns a crime-ridden United States, which has converted Manhattan Island in New York City into the country's maximum-security prison. Air Force One is hijacked by insurgents and is deliberately crashed in New York City. Ex-soldier and current federal prisoner Snake Plissken (Russell) is given just 24 hours to go in and rescue the President of the United States.
