This was a scene inspired by a short story prompted by the single word "familiar." Story below if you're interested :) The spongy, wet moss beneath her feet. The light filtering gently down through the canopy of the trees, akin to a soft, glimmering haze surrounding her. The smell of decomposing foliage clinging to the moist air, enveloping her. She peered down into the glassy lake, crouching low, her pointed ears alert. A worn, wisened face looked back at her. It was a familiar yet distant image. She contemplated where her youth had gone, when wrinkles began folding her face and forming a new story. He observed her from the distant tree line. Ahh the month of February! Usually defined by the Primrose (and also Violet!) and Amethyst. The Western Zodiac that takes up the most of the month is Aquarius, although there is some Pisces there at the end.
