Pontiac Michigan Tapestries

Pontiac was an American automobile brand introduced as a companion make for GM's more expensive line of Oakland automobiles in 1925, but Pontiac overtook Oakland in popularity and supplanted its parent brand entirely by 1933. From Chieftons to Bonnevilles and Tempests to Trans Ams, Pontiac's models were always an exciting mix of performance and style which gave them an unmistakable brand identity that was often envied by her sister divisions. This design leverages logomark elements from several key eras in the division's history, making it somewhat of a Pontiac resto-mod hybrid.

Pontiac - Totally Very Sucks

Formed in 1933, Wolverine Brewing Co.’s bottling line started operation in May and ran for all of 10 decades, lasting even through the start of the war. By 1943, wartime restrictions became too much, and the Wolverine Brewing Company closed its doors. They produced half a dozen beers, including Dark Horse Ale, Wolverine Beer, and Rhein-Brau, also known as “The Aristocrat”. It was said that the Rhein-Brau’s recipe was based on a winning formula from the Chicago World’s fair in 1893.

Fisher Body was an automobile coachbuilder founded by the Fisher brothers in 1908 in Detroit, Michigan, later becoming a division of GM. The name and its iconic "Body by Fisher" logo were well known to the public, as GM vehicles displayed a "Body by Fisher" emblem on their door sill plates until the mid-1990s, more than a decade after the coach-building division was dissolved and its functional areas absorbed by other divisions. This design is based on the original 1930s era logo that would go on to be used for decades to come, albeit with some stylistic changes along the way.
