Oil on canvas, varnished. Another painting in my cycle of alternative art works: I tried to unify classic pop art, 60's comics and portraiture. Moreover, this painting has a new «experimental» element – poppy wreath. Combine comics and flowers – a strange idea...But it turned out very interesting. Like all my other paintings, this one is painted in oil and covered with a special varnish.

Here is a memorial to the bravery and sacrifice of fallen soldiers. A wreath of red poppies, the symbol of battlefield remembrance, encircle him. Victory approaches carrying a laurel of olive leaves to crown the hero. He holds a sword instead of a gun to reflect the eternal nature of war.
