Starring Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, Mare Winningham, Emilio Estevez and Ally Sheedy, St Elmo's Fire tells the coming of age story of a close knit group of Georgetown University graduates.

Is that a unicorn? No...it doesn't have a horn, but this Indian pony's ears ARE glowing a purplish white. It's not magic but a natural phenomenon: St. Elmo's fire. Covered in Native American war paint, this dapple gray warrior horse stands atop a grassy green hill surrounded by boulders. A storm is brewing and lighting streaks down from the dark sky . A harsh wind blows through the horse's mane and tale, yet the animal stands strong. I've had a few fans request an image featuring a horse with St. Elmo's fire on it's ears. The electrical phenomenon is well known by sailors for appearing on the masts of ships in stormy conditions, but there have also been several reports of it happening to the ears of horses as well. St. Elmo's fire is a bright blue or violet glow, appearing like fire in some circumstances, from tall, sharply pointed structures such as masts, spires, and chimneys, and on aircraft wings or nose cones. St. Elmo's fire can also appear on leaves and grass, and even at the tips of cattle horns.

The Flying Dutchman is a legendary ghost ship, allegedly never able to make port, but doomed to sail the seven seas forever. The myth is likely to have originated from the 17th-century Golden Age of the Dutch East India Company and of Dutch maritime power. The oldest known extant version of the legend dates from the late 18th century. According to the legend, if hailed by another ship, the crew of the Flying Dutchman might try to send messages to land, or to people long dead. Reported sightings in the 19th and 20th centuries claimed that the ship glowed with a ghostly light. In ocean lore, the sight of this phantom ship functions as a portent of doom. It was commonly believed that the Flying Dutchman was a Fluyt.
