This lovely C12th Norman church stands in the centre of the village, and is very near the Kennet and Avon Canal. Carry on walking round the church down the hill and you cross Vicarage Bridge over the waterway to join the towpath leading to the lock. Kintbury's nearest town is Newbury, the administrative centre for West Berkshire. This image has been finished as a coloured pencil drawing.

Looking south across the River Thames from the Buckinghamshire bank to the parish church of All Saints at Bisham in Berkshire, England. The church dates from the 12th century, the squat Norman tower being built around 1175. The buildings were extended over the following years, particularly by the Hoby family who lived in nearby Bisham Abbey. Walking along the Thames Path between Marlow and Henley on Thames, the buildings of both the church and abbey can be seen only a short distance from Marlow.

The village, which is a mere six miles from High Wycombe, is reached through narrow country roads and lies on the edge of a hillside in the Chilterns Hills overlooking spectacular wooded valleys.

The Saint Publius Parish Church, also known as the Floriana Parish Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Floriana, Malta, dedicated to Saint Publius. It was constructed at several stages between the 18th and 20th centuries. St Publius is a founding Christian of Malta and is their first Saint. With St Paul they are the patron saints of Malta. The church and the surrounding streets are being prepared for the feast day of St Publius, an annual celebration. In the square are the entrances to ancient granaries (looking like bases to columns).Such granaries have been found throughout Malta.

The parish church of St Matthew at Midgeham in West Berkshire, England viewed from the towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal. There had been a chapel at Midgeham since the early 1300s but the parish church seen here was not built and consecrated until the late 1850s. Commisioned by the local squire, it was designed by John Johnson in the Early English style which was very popular in the Victorian period. It has a peal of six bells, the oldest having been cast in 1674.

The church has a superb late Norman tower which dates from about 1175 and is here seen framed by trees and reflected in the river. Nearby is Bisham Abbey, the National Sports Centre.
