It's time to leave. This planet is going down hill fast. Luckily, NASA has recently found somewhere else for us to ruin! Yay!

TRAPPIST-1 is an ultra-cool dwarf star located 39 light-years away from Earth, in the constellation Aquarius. It has seven Earth-sized planets in its habitable zone, with three of them receiving a similar amount of energy as Earth, making them the most promising candidates for potential habitability. The planets are tidally locked, meaning that they have one side permanently facing their star, and the other side permanently facing away.

What do the exoplanets of the Trappist system look like? No one knows for certain. Just because they are Earth-like doesn't mean they are anything like Earth. However, they may hold liquid water and they are so close together you can see some of the other planets in the sky, including their clouds and surface features.
