I love how silhouettes can convey so much meaning & feeling, while leaving so much to the imagination - or maybe that's their secret! This is my modern take on a sketch I drew many years ago...and I love how it turned out!

The vane on a windmill serves to keep it facing into the wind when it is in operation and perpendicular to the wind, to keep rotation to a minimum, when it is not.
