the humble Wom-Bat!

I adore the natural fauna that is unique to my own part of the globe - Australia. The animals I have sketched here are unfortunately among the top Australian mammals that are on the critically endangered list. From left to Right : a Kangaroo Island Dunnart, Gilbert's Potoroo, a Greater Stick Nest Rat, a Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat, The Eastern Barred Bandicoot, the Southern Bent-Wing Bat (flying above), a Christmas Island Flying Fox (hanging below), a Woylie, a Pygmy Possum and a Leadbeater Possum. I truly hope the future of all these amazingly unique creatures (and others) have a brighter future and that we can truly live harmoniously with the fauna on this planet.
