A widespread and common species found in Mt Lofty Ranges & Adelaide Plains, Eyre Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Murray Valley, South East, Yorke Peninsula - great numbers in flooded grassland or marshes. I havnt had much luck growing sunflowers before... These plants when they flowered had grown well beyond my 6'5" height. Excited to keep the seed for next year.

The first flush of dasies lead to the making of a daisy chain. Magpie Springs is a rustic farm very close to the McLaren Vale in the Adelaide Hills Wine Region. The property has some of the oldest vines in the Southern Adelaide Hills. Our vineyard, homestead, art gallery and cellar door in the centre of the Fleurieu Peninsula is nestled back from B34, the main road from Hahndorf to Willunga Hill. We are half way from Adelaide to Victor Harbor. Our vines, organically grown since 2013 have been under a restoration process and are now producing premium fruit. 5 different winemakers purchase our fruit. Several wild kangaroos live onsite at Magpie Springs. A family of them graze in the grass just outside of my studio daily when no one is about. They are shy and bound off when visitors come. Saturday and Sunday when the Art Gallery and Cellar Door is open. Magpie Springs is a vineyard in South Australia.
