The Royal Engineers of Naboo were notorious for their aftermarket additions to their R2 units, making them some of the most sought after units in the galaxy. The droid R2-D2 was one of their products.

Just prior to leaving the planet Tatooine in 0 BBY, R2-D2 and C-3PO were temporarily separated from their new master. In order to evade Imperial stormtroopers on the streets of Mos Eisley, among other things, the two droids posed as employees of a fictional company—Skywalker Technical Maintenance Service. Skywalker Technical Maintenance Service was an extremely small business. Its labor pool consisted entirely of one astromech droid and one protocol droid. In fact, it was so small that its presumed chief executive—Luke Skywalker—was likely unaware of its existence.

Jarek Yeager's Repair Station, also known simply as Yeager's repairs, was a repair shop owned by Jarek Yeager on the Colossus. His employees included the the mechanics Neeku Vozo and Tamara Ryvora, and the astromech droid Bucket. During the Cold War, he allowed Kazuda Xiono to work in the shop as a member of Team Fireball but wanted nothing to do with the Resistance spy's mission.

This portrait of CB-23 is docked like in the back of the Fireball. I think this one looks best on mugs, notebooks –  and just about anything else if you choose the sticker. All profits from my shop are donated to Mass Adoption Resource Exchange. They help find loving permanent homes for kids in Foster Care.

Bornaryn Trading was a company that was co-founded and co-owned by Bornan Thul and his wife, Aryn during the Galactic Civil War. After Bornan's death in 24 ABY, Aryn become sole owner of the corporation, although Bornan's brother Tyko helped her to maintain the conglomerate's operations. Prior to the Swarm War, Bornaryn Trading purchased a controlling interest in the long-running droid manufacturing corporation of Industrial Automaton, following the release of that company's R9-series astromech droid.
