Cascading approximately 60 feet, Bridal Veil Falls is the most accessible waterfall in the canyon. The Falls flows intensely in the spring and slows considerably in late summer and fall. it is located adjacent to a large parking lot to accommodate sightseers. An observation platform has been installed to optimal viewing and photos. Please note, hiking in the Bridal Veil Falls area is prohibited.

Spearfish Canyon is a deep but narrow gorge carved by Spearfish Creek located in Lawrence County, South Dakota, U.S., just south of Spearfish. The canyon is located within the Black Hills, located on the northern edge of the Black Hills National Forest.

Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway features thousand-foot-high limestone canyon walls in shades of brown, pink and gray along both sides of Highway 14A as it twists through the 19-mile gorge.

Bridal Veil Falls is an easily accessible 60 foot waterfall seen along the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway in the Black Hills National Forest. Bridal Veil Falls drops over 365 feet (111 meters) in a series of cascading falls and is surrounded by towering cliffs and rugged mountain peaks.

The Royal Gorge is a canyon of the Arkansas River located west of Cañon City, Colorado. The canyon begins at the mouth of Grape Creek and continues for approximately 6 miles ending near U.S. Route 50. It is also known as the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas River.
