Based in Anaheim, Orange County Speed Shop opened its doors in 1949 as the post-war hot-rod craze was gaining momentum and quickly became one of the top sources for go-fast goodies on the west coast. They not only had a full-service retail business, but were quick to get into mail order and wholesale as well, distributing all the top brands to shops throughout the SoCal area.

Founded in North Hollywood back in 1953, U.S. Speed Sport was one of Hollywood's premier speed shops offering all the best go-fast goodies as well as installation, customization, and service for hot rodders, dry lake racers, and drag nuts.

This is a 51 Mercury. Imagine driving down the street with this baby. Today the only chrome you see is in your child's mouth containing braces. This gas guzzler would tell you who's boss.
